Dibombe is a run of river project with a proposed installed capacity of 62.6MW and located along the Dibombe River in the Littoral region in the Francophone part of Cameroon. The project is under development with the feasibility study concluded and under validation by the Ministry of Water and Energy (MINEE).
The project has a design flow of 70m3/s, gross head of 111.5m, a 10m high fixed weir, a 4.7km headrace, a 630m penstock, and 3 vertical Francis turbines. The project’s generation output is estimated at 252GWh annually.
The project will develop a stakeholder and community development plan that will be implemented alongside the construction and operation of the project.
